Plastiryoten is a conceptual work about microplastics. We've, sadly, all seen the large pile of garbage in the sea, the dissected animals with their stomachs full of plastics.
But the danger of all this goes even further. The plastics in the sea become so minuscule, that researchers have discovered that those little microplastics can intrude into one-cell organisms. On the other hand, scientists are making living plastics. That propel themselves thanks too for example heat of the sun.
What if these two come together? What is those tiny living plastics intrude into organisms? Will there new organisms being born? And what effect will this have on our animals, our ecosystem and on us?
